Each September, St. Mary Parish and School celebrates its annual Marian Festival. The Marian Festival is an opportunity for our St. Mary family to gather together to celebrate our community and our Lady's Birthday. The birth of the Virgin Mary is celebrated liturgically on September 8th in the Catholic Church.
The Festival begins with Mass and a procession in honor of Our Lady. Entrance to the festival is free and families may come and go as they please throughout the day. The festival features a delicious free lunch courtesy of the Knights of Columbus, a free snack bar, food trucks parked around the grounds, and a cash bar.
The Festival has dozens of activities for adults and kids alike! Some of the traditional children’s activities include ‘Soccer with the Priests,’ carnival games, St. Joseph’s woodworking workshop, face painting, inflatable slides and mazes, and balloon art. For the adults, there are art lessons, beer and wine tastings, live music, a baking contest, and, of course, a tent dedicated to watching the Broncos game. Also, the nursery is open throughout the festival for those parents with small children! For a look at last year’s schedule, see here.
