At St. Mary Catholic School, we take seriously Christ’s call to serve our brothers and sisters. By giving our students and their families multiple opportunities to serve others throughout the year, we hope to create an ethic of service whereby we recognize the needs of others and respond with generosity. Our students are given opportunities to serve the larger community at least once a month. Some of the service projects are school-wide, while others are initiated by a class, by Student Council or by Caring Communities.
In a special way, St. Mary students assist the St. Mary Parish Food Bank, which serves over 100 families from the local community every week. Each month, a different grade is responsible for helping to stock the shelves of the food bank.
