Academic Formation

Saint Mary Parish School is a Catholic school providing rigorous academics for Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. Both traditional and special curricula are offered:

  • Departmental classes in grades 5 through 8
  • Computers in all classrooms
  • Art, Music and Physical Education taught by specialists
  • Computer classes in grades K through 8
  • Spanish in grades 5-8, After school Spanish option for grades K-4
  • Archdiocesan Art Competition, Speech Team, Student Council, Academic Decathlon, Archdiocesan Spelling Bee, Tech Team, and a full range of athletic programs
  • After school programs include: After School Spanish, Bricks for Kids, Chess Club

Curriculum guidelines are provided by the Archdiocese of Denver and are routinely reviewed and assessed for effectiveness.

 

Achievement

Iowa Assessment (IA)

All Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Denver administer the IA each year. 

Our IA results indicate students consistently gain more than one year's growth in each grade.
